Thank you to Ailleen, La Raine, Maila, and the South University Nursing Students for volunteering at Asian Fest yesterday at ODU, Webb Center hosted by the Asian Pacific American Heritage Organization. We had a lot of people stop by our table to get their blood pressure checked and BMI reviewed. Others education topicsdiscussed included but not limited to stroke, hypertension, diabetes, alzheimer’s ,cancer, and advanced directives. Be sure to catch our next collaborated asian wellness community health fair event on June 4th at ODU! More details of the guest speakers to follow. We will need as many PNAVA volunteers as possible.
