What an amazing night to remember! The turnout was great. We were able to give our guests a wonderful experience. We celebrated our rising stars, leaders, supporters and each other. We awarded two nursing scholarships among others. We inducted our new executive board under the second term leadership of PNAVA President Catherine Paler.

Special shoutout to two of the brightest stars of PNAA: Dr. Marlon Saria, PNAA President-Elect and Dr. Warly Remegio, PNAA Eastern Region Vice President. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to attend our gala and to highlight our grassroots leaders and the important volunteer work they are doing for the Hampton Roads community.

Highlights of the night included the impressive vocals of PNAVA’s very own Christine Sanchez with her spot-on rendition of the Star Spangled Banner and Lupang Hinirang; musical entertainment by one of Hampton Roads best singing couple Lee and Ester Parrilla; and exquisite professional ballroom dancing by powerhouse couples Ben and Aida Limcaoco, and Marie Rants and Dave.

We would be remiss not to mention Oceanfront Sheraton Catering Director Nancy Rosen for all her behind the scenes professional work to make this event a success; DJ Paul Calimbas for a fantastic musical selection. The dance floor was full all night; Astro Entertainment for the black Jack and roulette tables; and Visual Artistry Entertainment for the Caricature artist.
